13:30 – 16:30: Managing Behaviour and Discipline
- Address conduct issues fairly & informally when appropriate
- Ensure fairness during disciplinary proceedings & manage grievances

- Foster a positive work environment & increase employee involvement
- Recognise what motivates people
- Understand how to use language & communication skills to build strong manager-employee relationships
13:30 – 16:30: Performance Management
- Address underperformance & attitude problems
- Develop performance plans, set objectives & conduct formal performance management
