With more than two decades service as a police officer in the UK and nineteen years in international police development leadership roles, Debra is an internationally recognised expert on policing and access to justice development in post-conflict environments.
She has exceptionally strong management and influencing skills, as evidenced by the progress made, and the relationships built, in places such as Rwanda, Sudan, South Sudan, the Balkans and India. Moreover, she has successfully built local capacity to design, manage and evaluate police/access to justice initiatives and training. Her impressive UK resume includes extensive experience of working within the Equality and Diversity agenda. She delivered the UK’s first cultural audit as a result of the MacPherson report and went on to provide support and guidance across the public sector.
